The 16 Days of Action Against Domestic Violence is a global campaign aimed at raising awareness and taking action to end domestic violence and gender-based abuse. This annual observance spans from November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, to December 10th, International Human Rights Day.
During these 16 days, individuals, organizations, and communities come together to advocate for a world free from domestic violence.
This campaign was started in in 1991 by the Centre for Women’s Global Leadership. Each year, the campaign focuses on a specific theme or issue related to domestic violence, shedding light on various aspects of this pervasive problem and advocating for change. This year’s theme is #INVEST.
Over the next 16 days we at SDVS will be sharing some information and ways you can use your voice as part of our #EveryVoiceCounts campaign so you too can be a part of the worldwide movement.

Also launching our Annual Report 2022 which can be found on our recourses page.
