Outreach & Prevention services

If you’re experiencing domestic violence or abuse, knowing where to turn for help can be daunting. We make it easy to take that brave step.

Not all people experiencing domestic violence wish to access emergency refuge accommodation. Our Outreach & Prevention team focuses on supporting those living in the community who can’t, or choose not to, seek refuge accommodation.

Our outreach workers respond to community needs through satellite clinics across South Dublin and West Wicklow.

We reach out to those living in the community by offering a dedicated one-to-one support worker.

  • We can provide guidance on how to keep you and those you care for safe from harm.
  • We listen and validate your experiences of domestic violence, while providing the space to look at possible options regarding legal, housing, social welfare, rights, and entitlements.
  • We can signpost you to other appropriate agencies and provide emotional support throughout your domestic violence journey.
  • We also offer peer-led and facilitated group work, one-to-one counselling and alternative therapies.
  • We also support clients as they move on from refuge.
