Outreach & Prevention Services

If you are experiencing Domestic Violence or Abuse, knowing where to turn for help can be daunting, so making that brave step easy to access is important to us. Not all people experiencing domestic violence wish to access emergency refuge accommodation. Our Outreach and Prevention team focuses on supporting those living in the community safely who can or choose not to seek refuge accommodation. Our Outreach workers respond to the needs of communities through satellite clinics across the South Dublin and West Wicklow areas.

We reach out to those living in the community by offering a dedicated one-to-one support worker.

We can provide guidance on how to keep you and those you care for safe from harm. We listen and validate your experiences of domestic violence while providing the space to look at possible options regarding legal, housing, social welfare, rights, and entitlements. We also support clients moving on from refuge if you wish. We can signpost you to other appropriate agencies and provide emotional support throughout your domestic violence journey. We also offer peer-led and facilitated group work, one-to-one counselling and alternative therapies.
