Outreach & Prevention Services

If you are experiencing Domestic Violence or abuse, reaching out can be daunting, so finding the assistance and support you need is important. Not all people experiencing domestic violence wish to access emergency refuge accommodation. Our Outreach and Prevention team focuses on supporting those living in the community safely, who are unable or choose not to seek refuge accommodation. Our Outreach workers respond to the needs of communities through satellite clinics, across the Dublin 10, 12, 22, 24, South-West County Dublin and West Wicklow areas.

We reach out to those living in the community by offering a dedicated one to one support worker. We can provide guidance on how to keep you and those you care for, safe from harm. We listen and validate your experiences of domestic violence while providing the space to look at possible options regarding legal, housing, social welfare, rights and entitlements. We also provide ongoing support to clients moving on from refuge, if you wish.

We can signpost you to other appropriate agencies and provide emotional support throughout your domestic violence journey. We also offer peer-led and facilitated group work (Freedom Programme), one to one counselling and alternative therapies (e.g. Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Trauma Body Work Massage).
